Mendukilo: The Origin of Flavor – An Underground Sensory Tasting

Inside the Mendukilo Cave, water sets the rhythm of the experience. This offering combines a guided tour of the subterranean space with a sensory tasting that connects geology, the land, and gastronomy. The tour allows you to understand how water has shaped the cave over time and its role in the valley's identity.

The experience continues with a blind tasting of water: the cave's own water, collected by dripping, and bottled water from Betelu. This is followed by an organoleptic tasting of four cheeses from Quesería Bikain, paired with organic cider for adults or organic juice from Sidreria Perkatzenea.
