Mountain biking from Eslava to Santa Criz: Heritage and Nature

In Eslava, the landscape unfolds at a perfect scale, along rural paths winding through olive groves, fields, and vineyards. This marked cycling route invites you to cycle from the town center to the Santa Criz archaeological site, following a 2.5 km easy route that encourages sustainable travel and a leisurely exploration of the area.

The route is self-guided, with accessible signage and information panels highlighting points of interest. In Santa Criz, there is a designated area to park your bicycle and continue your visit on foot. Those wishing to extend their experience can add a second route to Alto de Zaldinaga, a moderately challenging option offering new views and opportunities for birdwatching. Support services are available, including bicycle parking and a washing station located near the cooperative winery and the village's old washhouse at Calle Santa Ana 1. This activity can also be combined with a guided tour of the archaeological site or other local activities.
