Natural parks

The natural essence of Navarre

In Navarre’s natural parks, time is etched into the landscape, and natural cycles run their course without interference. The atmosphere is evident both in the damp gloom of the northern forests and in the mineral silence of the open landscapes of the south. These are places for contemplation, where biodiversity and cultural heritage coexist in a space where everything unfolds at a leisurely pace, inviting visitors to pause, look around and let the character of the landscape envelop them

Why visit Navarre’s natural parks?

The natural parks are part of everyday life in Navarre and do not function as isolated spaces. Within them, nature and human activity have coexisted for generations, creating landscapes where ecological, geological and cultural values are coherently combined.

Exploring these areas allows you to appreciate stark contrasts within short distances: from dense, humid forests to drier areas shaped by erosion. It is an opportunity to discover different natural environments within the same region, with trails, viewpoints and areas accessible to all types of visitors.
