Raft Day

In honor and remembrance of the raftsmen of the Roncal, Salazar, and Aezkoa valleys, "Raft Day" was created, a celebration declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest in 2005. Thus, every spring, at the end of April or beginning of May, and before thousands of spectators, these rafts once again navigate the waters of the Esca River, culminating their journey at the medieval bridge of Burgui.
