Your guide to Northern Navarre

To ensure your experience in Navarre is complete, we offer you an extensive network of visitor centres. Here you can obtain maps, brochures and personalised advice on routes, heritage and activities in each of the regions of Northern Navarre.

 

Offices of the Official Network of the Government of Navarre

These offices are permanent and serve as the main information hubs in the region due to their official and comprehensive management.

In the Baztan-Bidasoa al area:

  • OIT Bertiz (Main): Located in Oieregi, this is the main information centre for the Natural Park and the entire valley.

In the Pirineo-Navarro:

  • OIT Roncesvalles: A key hub for pilgrims and visitors to the central Pyrenees.
  • OIT Ochagavía: Specialising in the Salazar Valley and access to the Irati Forest.
  • OIT Roncal: A key point of reference for the Roncal Valley and high-mountain activities.

In the Plazaola-Sakana-Ultzamaldea area:

  • OIT Lekunberri: Located in the old Plazaola station, it offers information on the Greenway and the surrounding valleys.

In the Sangüesa-Pre-Pyrenees region:

  • OIT Sangüesa: A key office for exploring the region’s architectural heritage and the Pre-Pyrenean area.

 

Tourist Information Points (PIT) and Municipal Offices

We complement the official network with additional points, local management offices and seasonal centres that operate mainly during peak periods (summer and public holidays).

 

Baztan-Bidasoa

This area has a dense network of local points to cover all its valleys:

  • Municipal Offices: Bera and Lesaka.
  • Information Points (PIT): Alto Ibardin, Doneztebe and Etxalar (open in summer).

  • Thematic and Cultural Centres:

    Elizondo: PIT at the Oteiza Museum.

    Urdazubi/Urdax: PIT at the Monastery.

    Zugarramurdi: PIT at the Witches’ Museum.

    Amaiur: PIT open on public holidays.

 

Navarre Pyrenees

Enhanced information services in the Pyrenean valleys to provide a personalised visitor experience:

  • Aribe: Specific tourist information office for the Aezkoa Valley.
  • Isaba: Municipal management office.
  • Luzaide / Valcarlos: Seasonal information point (summer).

 

Plazaola-Sakana

  • Alkotz: Information point specialising in the area’s mycology.

 

Sangüesa region – Pre-Pyrenees

  • Lumbier: Las Foces Interpretation Centre, which also serves as a tourist information point for the natural environment.
